When MyFarm launched Puketapu Vineyards Limited Partnership in December 2019, the offer was massively oversubscribed with quite a number of investors missing out.
We are now offering a fresh opportunity to invest in one of our most popular lease rental syndicates following the purchase of a 29.8 cha Sauvignon Blanc vineyard in Marlborough. This has come about as result of the syndicate’s contract to purchase Loddon Lane – a fully developed 29.5 canopy hectare Sauvignon Blanc vineyard in Marlborough. This new vineyard will be leased by Misty Cove – MyFarm operational partner, winemaker and exporter to 42 countries.
The purchase will create a diversified, large-scale portfolio of vineyards in Hawke’s Bay and Marlborough.
Both vineyard lessees, Misty Cove and Sacred Hill, are experiencing an upturn in retail and online wine sales as consumers in key international markets spend more time drinking at home. And with forward supply contracts in place for 2020/21, future export volumes are looking healthy.
Size: 81.5 canopy hectares comprising three prime Hawke’s Bay vineyards (51.7 cha) and one Marlborough vineyard (29.8 cha).
Varieties: Predominant grape varieties are Sauvignon Blanc (43%), Chardonnay (34%), Merlot (14%) and a range of other Hawke’s Bay red varieties (9%).
Lessees: Long-term vineyard leases in place with Sacred Hill wines and Misty Cove.
Returns: Lease rental income of 7.5 – 8% p.a. paid monthly from August 2020.
Minimum investment: $100,000*.
Offer close: 5pm, Thursday 7th May.
