Birch Hill Limited Partnership
With annual exports now in the vicinity of $470 million, spectacular growth in global demand for UMF Mānuka honey products has elevated New Zealand’s position as one of the world’s highest earning honey producers.
MyFarm’s latest offer is an investment in a 545 hectare Mānuka forest at Pongaroa. It’s the first stage in the development of a 1000 ha portfolio of forests planned for the lower and central North Island during the next two years.

Under a share farming agreement, Comvita will supply new generation Mānuka plants bred specifically to produce higher quantities of DHA – a key component of high UMF Mānuka honey. The company will also manage forest development and provide beekeeping services.
